Hope - Leads to Success

 HOPE

Happiness rides on its silvery shine,

Optimism hand in hand, alongside,

Persistence dwells in it’s brightness,

Equanimity, it’s core, leads to success.

I was inspired to write this poem by the word prompt challenge on - Hope - given by fellow writer and poetess, Brenda Arledge. Brenda is doing a wonderful job, giving word prompts every week to inspire creativity among writers and poets on HubPages. The wonderful responses to the word prompts are a real joy to go through.

The Full Moon day of the ongoing month of Faagun is celebrated as Holi in India. It is the festival of colours. Special sweet delicacies are prepared. Holi songs are full of joy and playfulness. In most places it is celebrated for two days.
